Fencing / Decking / Plumbing, exported
Fencing, decking and plumbing rough-in run together as one line because they land in the same phase of a build and rarely fill a container on their own. Chain link, aluminum, vinyl and wood fencing; composite and pressure-treated decking with the fastener and framing systems that go with it; and the pipe, fittings, valves and rough-in materials that go in the ground and behind the wall.
Decking, fencing and plumbing all ship from national distribution programs, with plumbing specified to the pipe standard your market uses — PVC, CPVC, PEX and copper all have their own code acceptance by destination. Composite decking is chosen for salt and UV exposure, which rules out several mainland-popular products on coastal work.
This is filler freight in the best sense: long, uniform and stackable, so it loads around and above heavier lines and lowers the cost per unit on the whole shipment. Fence rolls and posts are banded, decking bundled full-length, pipe nested and end-capped to keep debris out and to survive handling at both ports.
Because this line loads around everything else, the best time to buy it is with your next larger order rather than on its own. If you have fencing, decking or plumbing coming up in a later phase, tell us now and we will include it in a container you are already paying to ship — the marginal freight cost on filler material is close to nothing.
